What’s Coming Sooner Than You Think?
The Warning, The Great Miracle, The Chastisement

Garabandal is a small village in northern Spain. My wife and I have had the privilege of visiting there twice, once staying in the home of a villager, and years later, in a new, small hotel.

The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared here to four young girls, giving only two public messages. But the girls, now senior women (one is deceased) have given much more of what Our Lady of Garabandal said to them.

Our Lady gave warnings for us, but doesn’t want our condemnation. “Pray to us with sincerity and we will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the passion of Jesus (see the Home Page on this site for Jesus’ Great Sufferings, Death, and Resurrection, a comprehensive article).

Saints and a Pope believe in the Garabandal messages — St. Pio of Pietrelcina (St. Padre Pio), St. Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) and Pope Paul VI — and all three are canonized saints.

THE WARNING

The Warning is a miraculous illumination of consciences all over the world, all on the same day or night, whereby each person in the world will know the state of his or her soul and where the soul would go if you died right then — to heaven, purgatory before heaven, or hell forever.

Blessed Anna-Maria Taigi prophesied about this great event, calling the Warning “the illumination of all consciences.” She said this in the 1800’s.

Conchita, in 1973, one of the girls who saw and heard Our Lady, spoke on the Warning, “The most important thing about that day is that everyone in the whole world will see a sign, a grace or a punishment within themselves. They will find themselves all alone in the world, no matter where they are at that time, alone with their consciences right before God. They will then see all their sins and what their sins have caused.”

Mari Lodi, the one who died already, told us in 1978, “It will be an interior personal experience. It will look as if the world has come to a standstill, however, no one will be aware of that as they will be totally absorbed in their own experience.”

Conchita added in 1965, “No one will escape it. It will be for the good to draw closer to God and for the others to amend their lives.”

In short, Conchita said in 1968, “the Aviso (the Warning) will be a correction of the conscience of the world.”

All Catholic churches may have lines for confession shortly after the Warning, I believe.

“When Communism comes again, everything will happen,” said Conchita, quoting Our Lady.

“The Blessed Virgin told me that we Catholic Christians do not think about the other world, heaven or hell. She said that we should think about Him and that if we did, our lives would be united with Christ.”

THE MIRACLE

The Miracle will be the greatest miracle ever performed by Jesus Christ, say the girls who saw and heard Our Lady at Garabandal, Spain. 

It will occur in the area called the Pines, overlooking the village of Garabandal. When will that happen? Within one year of the Warning! Hopefully, it will be televised live to the world.

One cannot but help look forward to this great event and the effect it will have on Christians and non-Christians throughout the world.

When Conchita asked the Lord in a locution in July, 1963, “Why is the Miracle going to take place, to convert many people?” He answered “to convert the whole world.”

We do know the date of the Miracle will be announced by Conchita, now in her 70’s, eight days in advance. It will take place at 8:30 p.m. in Garabandal’s “the Pines” area. It will last 15 minutes. It will be seen in the sky, so clearly, that there will be no doubt that it came from God. The sick who come on that day will be cured.

Other information revealed by Conchita is that the date of the Miracle will coincide with an event in the Catholic Church, and with the feast day of a saint who is a martyr of the Eucharist (the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ.)

In addition, a sign of the Miracle which will be possible to film or televise, will remain forever at the Pines.

On the day of the Miracle, all those in the village or on the surrounding mountains will see it.

This will occur in March, April or May between the 8th and the 16th of the month. Sinners will be converted. The incredulous will believe.

Russia and other countries will be converted.

According to what Conchita was told, we are in the end-times now. This fact is also confirmed by Jesus Himself in His appearances as Jesus, King of All Nations. (Read the first article under The Warnings section on this website.)

The end-times is the time of the anti-Christ and great persecution of those who believe in Jesus Christ.

The Chastisement is something direct from God. It is not the tribulation on earth, just before and during the time of the anti-Christ.

At Garabandal, Our Lady warns us of the greatest cataclysm in the history of the world since the deluge (the worldwide flood in Noah’s time). Then only one family was saved: Noah, his three sons and each of their wives, eight people in all. Don’t be surprised if Noah’s Ark is confirmed in these times, perhaps before the Chastisement begins.

The Chastisement is conditional and depends upon how many people all over the world respond to the Warning and the great Miracle following. However, in 1971 Conchita said, “The Chastisement must come because the Miracle will not suffice by itself to make us change.” I humbly agree.

I believe somewhere around this time, the 8th chapter of the Apocalypse, or the Book of Revelation, will be fulfilled including the fire cast down from Heaven. It is not until the 11th chapter that the two witnesses for God are killed by the anti-Christ. And after that is the period of the Great Tribulation for 3½ years — 42 months, seven years of Tribulation in all.

In closing, the Warning, the Miracle and the Chastisement are coming sooner than many think!

Note: Even though three Saints of the Catholic Church believe in Garabandal, the Church awaits the Warning and perhaps the Miracle to approve the apparitions as authentic.
